The Haggin Museum had dated branding that needed more cohesion and a current look. They were undergoing a massive renovation and wanted to rebrand themselves for the big reveal of their state-of-the-art facility. At Haggin, art and history came alive. They become tangible, relatable, fascinating and fun—and now we’re literally showing art in a new light with our exciting renovations. “See Art in a New Light” was the tagline that we created for them. This phrase describes what we wanted Haggin to exude. To begin this new brand identity, we started on their logo, deconstructing their current logo into a more modern design. We chose a color palette and design scheme that would help them with brand recognition and chose a 'shard' look using fragmented shapes where we could showcase their paintings and historical items in signage around their museum.
