Palmer Ad Agency, a full service branding and lead generation agency located in the heart of San Francisco is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing agency. The Account Manager will be leading the daily communications and project management for multiple accounts as well as dive into business development.
We are seeking someone who is willing to learn on the job and support in the following areas (but not limited to): client inter-facing positions with mid to senior level marketing clients across a variety of categories, managing client daily deliverables and keep them informed on project status, working internally to deliver client assignments on strategy, on time and on budget, cultivating client relationships, and conducting competitive analysis and understand the client's category.
Responsibilities:

Manage client daily deliverables and keep them informed on project status
Work internally to deliver client assignments on strategy, on time and on budget
Be integral part of the strategy, briefing and all other steps of the creative and production process
Responsible for developing a project timeline and status reports as needed
Cultivate client relationships
Seek incremental business from existing clients and assist in business development opportunities
Manage client budgets
Conducts competitive analysis and understand client's category
Qualifications
1-5 years of account management experience at an ad agency or related company
Experience in traditional and digital assignments
Must be able to demonstrate how to handle client relationships and think strategically about their business
Experience with managing all facets of a typical AM job (open and close jobs, manage resources and budget, draft creative briefs and timelines, manage the day to day, etc)
